After a slight detour at the 14th St. store (they weren’t selling any today), I headed back up to the 5th Ave. store and scored the last ticket in the 3pm line. Waited outside for a little over an hour, and then another half hour in the store. Took another 10 minutes for them to transfer my number and activate my phone, and I was out the door. I clutched it the entire ride home on the subway, the full walk back to my apartment, and now I am sitting on my couch just looking at it. This is what it must feel like to bring your first newborn home. Not really sure what to do with it, or quite what it’s capable of, but you’re pretty sure it’s just changed your life.

Let me tell you from experience that it is EXACTLY like bringing home a newborn.  It’s cute, expensive, confusing, and after 2 months, everyone you know will be fucking sick of hearing you talk incessantly about it.
